While the Asian Farmer’s Markets have some familiar vegetables and fruits, there are also many unusual things for the traveler to try.

Known as the “King of Fruits” the Durian is often banned from many of the good hotels       because of the skunk-like smell you get when the fruit is opened.  The flesh is custardy and is highly regarded by Asians.
